The style 4 Weissenborn guitars are very beautiful guitars indeed. They were the top of the line for Weissenborn, and were made with the choicest of woods. These guitars have the rope binding that you can see all over the guitar, from the body, fretboard, headstock, and back. Just beautiful design and immaculate craftsmanship.

I just purchased a handmade Weissenborn style 4 from a dutch luthier in Amsterdam, Ferdinand van den Berg from Fern’s Guitars. He has pretty good Website with beautiful Pictures of the Weissi. It’s just like the Original – bute made out of high figuered Mahagony, not from Koa. It Sound great and Looks just beautiful.
