The PRS Hollowbody II is one beautiful looking guitar. I am personally a big fan of the hollowbodies like the Fender Telecaster Thinline. Characteristic of PRS guitars, we see the birds inlays and covered humbuckers (57/08). Also, the signature carved maple body surface that we saw in the Custom 24 and the 305.
This semi-hollow guitar has 22 frets on the 25″ mahogany neck, with a bound rosewood fretboard giving it that dark look.
Immediately noticeable on this guitar is the Volume and Tone Control with 3-Way Toggle Pickup Selector and LR Baggs/PRS Piezo Pickup System, which means we can also see the two jacks on the bottom allowing both the PA or recording equipment to be plugged into at the same time as the guitar amp is. A pretty cool stock feature for these beasts.
There is no question in my mind that this guitar delivers unprecedented tones. Pick one up, hold it, tell me what you think?
