In the 1960s National had a guitar named Glenwood, that was roughly the shape of the USA, map shaped as they call it.
Metropolitan debuted the Tanglewood in March of 1996, conceived by David Wintz (of Robin Guitars fame) who took the old plastic National guitar and made it better in every way possible.
Handmade in Houston Texas, these guitars are exquisite pieces of equipment.
