The Taylor 526e acoustic guitar is one beautiful guitar to behold. Built with tropical mahogany in the Grand Symphony shape with the Taylor Expression System, it is hard to take your eyes off this guitar. It is a part of the 500 series of Taylor guitars.
This 6-string, 25 1/2″ scale guitar is inlaid with their Century inlay style, bound with ivoroid around the headstock, heel cap, and body. It does include a black pickguard.
The neck joint is of the scarf style, with a 2-piece back, without the wedge. I personally find the wedge confusing and I don’t like it, so I’m glad the 526e doesn’t have it with such beautiful wood. Taylor sticks a price tag of $3000.00 for these fine instruments.
Have you ever played the Taylor 526e? What do you think of this guitar?
