In 1965, Hartley Peavey started a one man musical instrument shop named Peavey. Today this one man shop boasts 2,000 products to more than 130 countries. This is an impressive resume and makes Peavey Electronics one of the largest audio equipment manufacturer in the world.
Peavey Electronics makes, to name a few: amplifiers, effect, monitors, mixing boards, recording equipment, keyboards, drums, and guitars. Most people have had a Peavey product at one time or another in their life if they’re into music. Mine was the Peavey Raptor that came in a kit box. It was my first electric guitar that also came with a little practice amplifier. That poor little amplifier and guitar did indeed take a beating.
Harley Peavey is the visionary, lead engineer, chief executive. Mr Peavey does it all.
Peavey instruments cater to all musicians. They offer cheaper versions for musicians just starting out, and they offer beautiful top-end gear that suits the professional.
